Hi.

I’m just here to talk about fashion, life, books, knitting and sewing.

Other Obsessions: {Sewing} Moneta Dress

I've been blissfully lazy about getting on my computer, but can you blame me? :D

Pattern: Colette Patterns Moneta Dress

Fabric: Green double knit from Michae Levine (it's still available on their website! www.lowpricefabrics.com)

Size 4 fits me perfectly, even when I was 38 weeks pregnant.

As usual, the instructions were flawless, but also this pattern is super easy! There were 5 pattern pieces to cut out, and I put them together in no time. I see some people sew the same patterns over and over again, and I can see how this Moneta pattern will be something like that for me.

The week I gave birth, I lost all the weight, and what was the first thing I did? Oh that's right, I went to my closet and tried on all the things I made during pregnancy :) Some of them were still a little tight especially under-bust area since my ribs were probably stretched out from the pregnancy. But at 8 weeks postpartum, I am happy to report that all of them, every single one, fits me perfectly now.

The only downside to breastfeeding is that dresses are kind of uncomfortable. But this moneta dress will be perfect for the fall season, when I plan to stop nursing... and who knows when it will be cool enough to wear sleeves in Southern California again...

Life Things: Babywearing

Other Obsessions: {Handspun} some hand dyed Panda and new BFL!
